The Diocese of Saints – that’s how the Włocławek Church, which produced many saints and blessed, is described. Among them, there is Saint Faustina Kowalska, known around the world as the Apostle of Divine Mercy. Looking into the image of Divine Mercy, faithful Christians from all continents repeat with one voice, “Jesus, I trust in You!” Therefore, it’s not surprising that this small part of the Włocławek Church – the Parish and Shrine of the Birth and Baptism of St. Faustina Kowalska in Świnice Warckie – is a popular destination among Pilgrims from all corners of the world.

The World Youth Day 2016 is coming soon. During that time, Kraków will become the capital of Christianity for young people. Joining this great Feast of Mercy, the Diocese of Włocławek intends to take what’s most beautiful from its great heritage of faith and give it to the youth, the hope of the Church.

Therefore, we invite Pilgrims from Poland and abroad to our native Parish and the Shrine of the Baptism of St. Faustina for a joint celebration of the Mystery of Divine Mercy. Before the meeting with Pope Francis in Kraków, let’s visit the family house of the Apostle of Divine Mercy, the church of Her first Confession and Holy Communion; let’s say a joint prayer for our families in the house of God, in which the Merciful Jesus allowed us to learn the power of His love and where He called her by the following name – “My chosen one.”
